Hey LCB'ers,
On this occasion we had not only a chance to test a new online hub, West Casino, but a new payment method as well, Interac. Our Canadian tester collected this important information:
- Tester: Coolife
- Registration date: January 21, 2021
- Deposit made on April 16, 2022, CAD 237 via Interac
- KYC documents sent on April 13, 2022
- Withdrawal requested on April 16, 2022, CAD 3190 via Interac
- Withdrawal received on April 22, 2022, CAD 3190 via Interac
In this video, the LCB team introduces you to our tester’s valuable findings from West Casino. Licensed by Malta, this iGaming operator features a colorful selection of games from a multiverse of content developers. It supports cryptocurrencies and offers versatile promotions and bonuses, including a Loyalty Program filled with incentives.
Already registered but a non-depositing player, our tester decided to investigate how efficient West Casino is in processing Interac payments. After replenishing the account using this banking option, he ventured into the lobby to play some games. He won a solid amount of 3740 coins while spinning the reels of Legacy of Dead, after which he decided to cash out.
Was the tester asked to provide any documents for KYC? How long did it take the casino to process his request? Take time to watch the entire West Casino video report and find out!
Registration
Our tester registered on January 22, 2021, but made no deposits until he was invited to conduct this test in April 2022. To join this online casino, players need to fill in a two-step form and provide a couple of basic info about themselves.
Deposit
Before making a deposit, the tester wanted to check if there were any pending bonuses on his account. As none were found, he attempted to deposit CAD 237 using his Visa credit card, but the transaction was denied.
To be more precise, the bank flagged the transaction as the casino tried to charge the player more than the amount he entered. Worth noting is that the cashier clearly indicated no fees are imposed when using this payment option, yet, our tester was almost charged CAD 255.51.
As far as the live chat support agent responded, fees usually depend on the provider. She suggested he should switch to a different payment option. The tester opted for Interac to deposit CAD 237 and after a couple of minutes, the exact amount was added to his casino balance.
Cards, e-wallets, vouchers, and cryptocurrencies are the available deposit options. The minimum amount to fund the account is $20 or equivalent in other available currencies.
Gameplay
As soon as the desired amount of money became visible on his casino balance, the tester went on to explore some games. His first choice was Ice Joker by Play’n GO, followed by Doom of Egypt during which he triggered a win of over CAD 160.
After that, he played Legacy of Dead, which brought him a massive win of 3,740 coins during the free spins feature. His balance grew from CAD 299.18 to CAD 4,039.18. He had a couple of more spins and then decided to withdraw.
KYC Procedure
On April 13, 2022, three days before making an actual deposit, the tester decided to verify his identity. He submitted proof of address, ID, and PDF bank statement via live chat.
According to the chat agent, if a player intends to deposit via credit card, some additional info may be required. She forwarded the documents to the finance teams, adding that the tester will be notified when the account is verified.
Withdrawal
Having won massively while playing Legacy of Dead, the tester visited the cashier and made a request to withdraw CAD 3,190 via Interac. As noted in the cashier, the weekly maximum is CAD 3,194.60, which is the reason why he didn’t request the entire available amount on his balance.
Over the next few days, the tester communicated with the chat support department regarding the status of his account and the request. He eventually received CAD 3,190 via Interac on April 22, 2022. That’s six days after the request was made.
Available withdrawal methods include cards, e-wallets, vouchers, cryptocurrencies, and bank transfers. To be able to request a withdrawal, a player needs to wager the deposit amount at least once. Cashouts are usually returned to the same method as the one used to replenish the account.
The minimum amount to cash out per transaction is CAD 100. There’s a limit of CAD 2,000 per transaction as well. Keep in mind that the operator will not process more than CAD 5,000 or equivalent in other currencies per 5 business days.
Conclusion
Despite the fact that the tester received the requested amount of money, he did experience a couple of issues along the way. As Terms didn’t feature precise information on the processing timeframe for account verification and withdrawal request, he had no idea when the funds were expected to be visible in his balance. On top of that, the casino tried to charge him a fee during the first attempt to deposit, even though the cashier clearly displayed that no fees are imposed when using cards to fund the account.
