So, it's winter time. People cluster indoors, winter weather brings down the body's ability to stave off the things which attack us and there's more bugs, viruses and flus poppin' round. How do you keep them at bay....or do you?
Some people wipe and wash often, avoid personal contact and even go as far as wear face masks to avoid the 'plague'. After a dose of something nasty, some massively dose on Vitamin C, resort to pills and vapour rubs and virtually O.D. on syrups or even hit the clinics and hospitals. Others think the body is a miraculous machine capable of taking care of most of what hits it and that a dose is a good way of building up the ol' immuno system.
Personally, I'm on of those annoying people who never get sick, catch bugs which last about an hr that make my nose run at worst and will happily shake hands with sickies and hold poles on crowded subways then wipe my nose (lol, maybe I just carry them, and pass them on).
Do you take any precautions to avoid bugs and how do you go about getting rid of them?
