So I think I have founds something new to be annoyed about.
Anywho my local casino Prairie Meadows is starting to learn how to be a casino and not a city operation that keeps putting money for the city first, players last.
Meaning there finally figuring out how to put a real players program together versus the lack of a player program that they before.
Like there now offering 5 different tiers, different perks to the different tiers, and actual comps just for playing that day.
A total refreshing twist from what I am used to.
Yet they have finally finished there first 6 month period under the new program. So I go in to get a comp and find out gasp. Because they put expiration dates on the cards. You have to get a new card "every" 6 months. So even though the tables games put a comp on there, the buffet attendant said I had to go back to the players club. Get a new card before I could use my comp.
To me this seems like a total waste of cards and money. I understand wanting to get like the top tier status cards out of those people's hands who don't deserve them. Yet I hold a fairly low tier and there's not much benefit to it.
I was just wondering if anyone else found that casinos that employ this method are just being wasteful?
